<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Why I Like An Early NPP Congress: </span></b><br />
<i><b><span style="font-size: large;">Nye obi na okum ananse! </span></b></i><br />
<br />
My first Reason is that it will show the true colours of the NPP as "champions of democracy in Ghana".<br />
<br />
The NPP has been boasting all along, with a strategic political narrative, that has nothing to do with what they practice. They have always preached democracy and always practised dictatorship.<br />
<br />
After losing to President Nkrumah, they decided to bomb their way to power, culminating in the 1966 coup d'etat.<br />
<br />
Busia was seen fighting the judiciary in the famous Sallah case. President Kuffour's Supreme Court appointments followed closely after the government had lost a case.<br />
<br />
They have either interfered even with the constitution, or acted in such manner in the general manner they govern Ghana whilst in office, than can meet the ordinary eye.<br />
<br />
It is significant that this is clearly showing even within the party itself. From now on, Ghanaians would know what it is they are looking at, when they see the NPP. And I am certain that many shall see anything but democracy! It's nice to see such suicidal stupidity at the highest levels of that party' echelon. <br />
<br />
My second Reason is that it will give some of us enough time to ask some questions and see if we can extract a response before the race begins.<br />
<br />
We hope to harvest enough responses or signals of indirect responses before the race actually begins. These have direct implications on recurrent themes about public perception of arrogance, for example.<br />
<br />
Even though the grounds on which these questions are being raised are not far-fetched, the last time we checked, the closest we have got in response to all the calls for explanations and some transparency concerning his exit from Oxford University. The only wise thing they managed to say was that "Nana was treating the question with the contempt that it deserves".<br />
<br />
This is one of my favourite questions, and I would be glad to commence my interrogations from where we left off, and raise the issues anew, in the light of ridiculous attempt to throw dust into the eyes of the public. With some luck, I can even predict that by the time elections begin and they go in search for campaign funding, even their donors will know that they are betting on a wrong horse.<br />
<br />
The third reason is that it shows very clearly that someone has to be flag-bearer of the NPP "at all cost"! And that is already going to do half the job for us. There could be no better way to get the NPP divided than through their own machinations. It is obvious that this is bound to be the most difficult swindling of power in the history of competitive politics within the NPP itself, as a party.<br />
<br />
What next, NPP? First it was "property owning democracy" clearly
spelling out, in black and white, their ideological bankruptcy. Now it
is "Rule by decree"! This is a self-imposed political dynamite. I can only wish you well as you ponder over even greater mischiefs that will ensure your own defeat.<br />
<br />
The fourth Reason is that we are beginning to understand what Akufo-Addo means by retiring from public engagements, and "seeking the face of God" before announcing his intentions to contest the 2016 elections. He is not seeking the face of God. He is busy underground, sabotaging democracy within his own party. The most ridiculous antic in recent times has been the attempt to bestow an award from the NUGS! Simply amazing!<br />
<br />
And as though it were a joke, National Executive Committee of the NPP actually met on Thursday, October, 3, 2013, and "Top on their agenda was whether the party should hold an early congress to elect a presidential candidate for the 2016 elections or not."<br />
<br />
Here is how the story goes:<br />
<br />
"the Angry NPP supporters besieged the party headquarters where National Executive Committee were meeting over fresh proposals to prepare the party for the 2016 general elections.<br />
<br />
Top on their agenda was whether the party should hold an early congress to elect a presidential candidate for the 2016 elections or not.<br />
<br />
The steering committee of the party early this week included this proposal to be considered by the party’s national executive council before the national executives are also elected.<br />
<br />
But some supporters of the party are against moves by the party leaders to hold early congress.<br />
<br />
A section of the group that besieged the party headquarters said they were convinced Nana Akufo-Addo, NPP’s 2012 presidential candidate will win the 2016 so there was no need for an early election. The supporters clad in red apparel are rather calling for accountability.<br />
<br />
It took a handful of heavily armed police personnel to bring them to order.<br />
<br />
One of them told Joy News’ Beatrice Adu, “We want our party to go through polling station election, constituency election, go through regional election, subsequently national and then we will have our national and then presidential primary.”<br />
<br />
He also wants all candidates to be given fair and equal treatment especially persons contesting for parliamentary election to minimize the number of aggrieved candidates who would want to go independent."<br />
<br />
How could anyone have put it better? This is what is currently happening within the NPP. <i>Nye obi na okum ananse! No one else is responsible for the death of Ananse but Ananse himself! </i>They seem quite happy digging their own graves, that thing may work very well!<br />
<br />
Let's keep our fingers crossed, whilst we all wish the NPP an early congress!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14308110675467201044noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1755984965748772637.post-79398469518971808692013-09-28T08:24:00.000-07:002013-09-28T08:41:26.682-07:00Comment: INCITMEMENT TO VIOLENCE IS A CRIME!<a href="http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/artikel.php?ID=287261&comment=9724822#top" name="com">Read Article</a>

Hello Nasty Fellow,<br />
<br />
Your right to be filthy and nasty must end where Mr. Kwesi Pratt, Jnr's well-being as a citizen of Ghana begins.<br />
<br />
I want you to know that comments like yours inciting hatred and violence
have nothing to do with the freedom of speech. It is clearly a criminal
offence to write that, "Somebody should put a bullet in his mouth to
silence him."<br />
<br />
I have been interested in finding out what some of us can do to bring
such irresponsible comments on the Ghanaweb to a decent minimum. <br />
<br />
I therefore ask for a retraction. You have the entire day to do so. If
by the end of the day, no such retraction has occurred, you will be able
to know whether you can be smoked out and prosecuted or not!<br />

A word to the wise is enough!<br />

Comment to: Crisis in NPP, what crisis?</div>
<br />
OFFICE OF THE ODIKRO<br />

<br />
It is now obvious that the Akufo-Addo petition was not designed to
attack the Mahama Administration, but to stifle internal opposition to
the Akufo-Addo's last attempt to contest.<br />
<br />
This same Gabby wrote a rather strange article which actually said two
thing. We know we are going to lose the 2012 elections. We are going to
contest the results when we lose.<br />
<br />
Whether or not we win, our aim is to keep Akufo-Addo in the public eye,
until those who think 2012 was Akufo-Addo's political expiring date
begin to think again! It is an opportunity for Akufo-Addo to do things
that can endear himself and to get his executives in the NPP back to
power, with himself as the flag-bearer.<br />
<br />
These steps became necessary because of "Agenda '16". The "Agenda 2016"
is the Alan Cash camp. They are not likely to take all these antics of
side-stepping them with early elections before the elections of the
Akufo-Addo infested National Executive Committee lying down.<br />
<br />
This is the problem this article seeks to address. It only ends up
making light of it, rather than addressing it. NPP may have to learn to
fight in a way that allows them to come together afterwards. But when
some feel an injustice has been done to them, and no one is addressing
them at the leadership level, this article would rather infuriate such a
person.<br />
<br />
And this is the effect it is likely to have inside the party, from the "other camp".<br />
<br />
Just watch and see! The NPP blues are not yet over!<br />

<br />
OFFICE OF THE ODIKRO<br />

<br />
It is a pity the GM lobby have resorted to hiring the services of any Tom, Dick and Adomah, to churn out such nonsense!<br />
<br />
What has the Biodiversity Act got to do with the approval of GM field trials by the National Biosafety Committee?<br />
<br />
Adomah writes:<br />
<br />
"Ghana’s National Biosafety Committee (NBC) gave the approval to conduct
such tests following the promulgation of the country’s Biosafety Act,
2011 (Act 831)."<br />
<br />
The Biosafety Act calls for the establishment of a National Biosafety Authority which is yet to be inaugurated!<br />
<br />
But even more nonsensical is the unsubstantiated and wild claim that
"advocates of the GM technology believe that the adoption of GM
cultivation would have significant benefits for farmers, consumers as
well as the environment"!<br />
<br />
What are the benefits of cancerous tumours, organ damage, and premature
death, that consumers risk as a result of dependence on GM crops as the
main source of food in the long run?<br />
<br />
what are the benefits of pollution, increase in the use of stronger
doses of pesticides, herbicides, and the emergence of super-weeds and
super-bugs?<br />
<br />
The only sure benefits that come out of the use of GMOs are the profits
of these 419 companies that sell them! and perhaps the kick-backs given
to cheap journalists like this writer, politicians, and the scientists
who act as their local agents!<br />
<br />
the National Biosafety Committee appears to be saddled with compromised
individuals with serious conflicts of interests, otherwise, who in his
right senses would champion such a silly cause?<br />
<br />
Ghanaians must resist this in the same way we resisted Apartheid,
Colonialism, and Slavery! The monopolization of our food by foreign
multinational corporations just for them to make profits and control our
lives is not a benefit!<br />

in shame! Only genuine fools who have nothing to lose would come and
beat about the bush!<br />

does! The Odikro is not even a member of the NDC, and has nothing to do
with that party anywhere! He does not drink beer nor any other

<br />
By the way, the stealing of millions of dollars by the NPP has nothing
to do with what The Odikro does in Belgium. It is strange that you
display this level of stupidity. The NPP must find better arguments to
explain to Ghanaians why we must entrust the governance of this country
in their hands, rather than seeing The Odikro in Afro shops!<br />

<br /><br />
Your ignorance is amazing! It is very doubtful that you are so stupid.
Since you are accusing him to be a liar, it is more plausible that you
know what you are saying is false. The UN special rapporteur on human
rights, Carla Del Ponte specifically accused the rebels of using the
nerve gas you are referring to.<br />
<br />
By the way, it is also against international law to go and attack
another country simply because you have "high confidence" that the
government there is killing its own people! The US is currently
supporting Bahrain that has killed more of its own people than this gas
attack by the Syrian rebels!<br />
<br />
By the way, why break international laws by not going through the UN
Security Council, with the lame excuse that the use of chemical weapons
is against international law? Since when was the US so sensitive to
that? Who used the phosphorous gases in Fallujah?<br />
<br />
The contradictions are so many that the lie has to be a very big one!
Here is a good one: "Americans are there bcos Asaad has used Chemical
weapon twice and that's violation of UN Law".</div>
<div class="comment">

"Why would the U.S. risk killing innocent Syrian civilians to punish the
Syrian regime for killing Syrian civilians?" Amy Goodman asks in this

OFFICE OF THE ODIKRO<br />
a companion of the black star!<br />
<br />
Akufo-Addo has so many unanswered questions hanging on his head. His
much talked about history of drug abuse is one he was never able to deal
with. Attempts by others to help him out even made matters worse. the
most interesting of them was when ex-President Kufour came out with the
bombshell: "Do not judge Akufo-Addo by his past"!<br />
<br />
Dr. Arthur Kennedy also tried in vain to exonerate him with the claim
that, as a qualified medical officer, he had examined Nana Akufo-Addo
with his bare eyes and "did not find a drop of cocaine in his blood"!<br />
<br />
Even though Akufo-Addo knows how to write petitions, he has failed to
petition Oxford University to come out with the official reasons why he
was dismissed from Oxford in 1962, thereby fuelling speculations that he
was dismissed for smoking wee on university campus.<br />
<br />
The question many people are asking is when he stopped smoking
marijuana, since he would be seen twenty years later in a "wake n bake"
scandal revealed by the Wikileaks that he smoked marijuana, fist thing
in the morning!<br />
<br />
If these rumours are true, can we trust such a President to soberly
preside over the delicate and complex affairs of the state? Can
Ghanaians really entrust their destiny in his hands? How do you feel
being a passenger of a car woith a drunken driver?<br />
<br />
Akufo-Addo must give us a break! He just made a mistake in believing
that he has been ordained to rule over us! At the last time I checked,
Ghana was still a democracy. and only Ghanaians ordain who must rule
over them! The way he handled his "all die be die" campaign makes it
clear he is not fit to get anywhere near the Presidency!<br />
<br />
He must take a permanent retirement and allow the NPP to learn the
correct lessons for their defeat! He needs to stop the disgusting
narrative that anyone cheated him. He was unable to win because of the
perceived arrogance, mediocrity, ethnocentric comments and behaviour of
most of his inner-circle members, and his general comportment as a
warlord rather than a flag-bearer of a political party!<br />
<br />
I am no fan of Alan Cash, but any other person would be better than Nana
Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo! He must give us a break! That is an order!<br />

<br /><br />
OFFICE OF THE ODIKRO<br />
a companion of the black star!<br />
<br />
He who pays the piper calls the tune. When the cameraman of Rawlings was
severely beaten in a hotel lobby in Kumasi, Akufo-Addo was there in the
lobby; he merely looked on as if it was something very normal.<br />
<br />
His body guards would beat the body guards of Prof. Mills, not once, but
twice. The first was during the 2008 Fetu Afahye at Cape Coast. The
second was at the Odwira Festival, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
There is no doubt that these beatings were being done to please their
boss and paymaster.<br />
<br />
The only occasion Akufo-Addo was forced to come out to condemn his body
guards' wanton beatings of political opponents was when they attacked
and beat up some individuals suspected to be supporters of Alan Cash at
the NPP Headquarters in Accra.<br />
<br />
Sometime last year, Mr. Asamoah Boateng would run for dear life, after
he tried to approach the Akufo-Addo VICTORY 2012 Office in Accra. He was
chased away by the hangers-on. His crime? The only explanation given
was in the shouts they made: "Agenda 2016"!<br />
<br />
"Agenda 2016" is a code name for the Alan Kyeremanteng camp. The
Akufo-Addo camp believed the "agenda 2016" did not wish them well. And
that they wanted Akufo-Addo to lose the 2012 elections so that Alan Cash
could take over the Presidential candidacy of the NPP for the 2016
elections.<br />
<br />
It was even believed that the "Agenda 2016" was working tirelessly to
scupper Akufo-Addo's chances in 2012, to make the way for Alan Cash in
2016. Hence the hostility. Yet, what we saw was exactly the opposite.
Ashanti Region, Alan Cash's strongest base had the highest votes for
Akufo-Addo, as Mr. Kyeremanteng, J. A. Kufuor and all campaigned
tirelessly for Akufo-Addo.<br />
<br />
Aren't Ghanaians simply tired of this type of politics? Akufo-Addo must
not confuse running for office with the work of a warlord! He is getting
nowhere with this "all die be die" attitude! you cannot surround
yourself with thugs without being a thug yourself!<br />
<br />

<br />
OFFICE OF THE ODIKRO<br />
a companion of the black star!<br />
<br />
Don't be silly! Let Kwesi speak his mind! This is how he helped to build
the democracy we are all enjoying! Don't you have elders in your home?
What did Mr. Pratt say that irks you so much? The President never went
to court for even one minute. If after the hard work by others, he did
not have the decency even to thank them, should he not point that out?<br />
<br />
Look at Akufo-Addo. He was in court regularly. He was constantly in
touch with his legal team. Yet he thanked them for their hard work, even
though they lost the case! How would you objectively compare the two?<br />
<br />
Everyone knows Mr. Pratt supports President Mahama, and has been against
Nana Akufo-Addo throughout the campaign, but the man is objective and a
principled person who calls a spade a spade!<br />
<br />
The "problem" with Mr. Pratt is that you cannot buy him. He is no
sycophant! He speaks his mind very clearly, and with much wisdom. He
does not care about your insults! Even with Rawlings' gun pointed at his
head, he spearheaded the struggle against his dictatorship which
ushered Ghana into the democracy we are enjoying!<br />

The man virtually sacrificed himself to help free Ghana from military
dictatorship into the current democratic dispensation. The minimum we
can do is to be thankful and show him some respect!<br />

<br /><br />
Yes! That is the spirit! Ghana wins! I have always maintained that the
NPP petition was void ab initio. It was a waste of time and resources.
It is a pity that such a frivolous and extremely vexatious case almost
plunged the nation into confusion. <br />
<br />
The NPP needs to lick their wounds and begin to find out why they lost.
It has to be clear to them that they lost not because they were cheated.
Perhaps, they need to be less war-like. Bellicose statements like "all
die be die" must have put voters off. <br />
<br />
The insults of other ethnic groups need to stop. How do you call all
Ewes "trokosi" and expect them to vote for you? How do you call people
from the North as "cow rearers" and expect a massive vote? The NPP
campaigned unwittingly against itself.<br />
<br />
The "Free SHS" 419 also failed to trick Ghanaians. First of all, it was
announced before much thought was even given to how much it was going to
cost. Nana akufu-Addo was pathetic in his BBC HARDtalk interview, when
he was asked a simple question:<br />
<br />
"PRESENTER: So have you costed it? How much will it cost?'<br />
<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: The costing... the costing... is being... is being done. I mean very very soon we will be in the position.<br />
<br />
PRESENTER: No, you must have costed it! You can't make a promise like that without costing it?<br />
<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: No, no, no, very, very soon we are going to be...<br />
<br />
PRESENTER: How much?<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: Very, very soon, we are going to be... put it together. I prefer...<br />
<br />
PRESENTER: You don't know how much?<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: I do know how much, understand, but...<br />
<br />
PRESENTER: Oh, then tell me that?<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: I will prefer to tell the people of Ghana directly before I tell you."<br />
<br />
Time for the analysis to flow! More is coming!<br />
<br />

<b>COMMENT:</b><br />
My views on this is exactly the same as those of Pan-Africanist International when asked what was the mood before the Judgement Day, yesterday by Radio XYZ: <br /><br />"Complete indifference! It does not matter which way the verdict goes! Ghana's political class has betrayed the people of Ghana over the most fundamental issue to the well-being of the good people of this country. Both the NDC and the NPP unanimously voted for the imposition of Genetically Modified Foods on Ghanaians without a discussion, or any specific mandate from the people who voted them into Parliament. The NPP government introduced the Bill in 2004. The NDC government passed it into law in 2011!<br /><br />They have both betrayed our trust, our health, and our environment. they pretend to be fighting each other, but they agree on imposing dangerous genetically modified organisms into our food chain! They should give us a break! The charade is too much! It is time our politicians from both sides of the political divide are made to account for their irresponsible behaviour of placing the future of Ghana's agriculture into the hands of foreign multinational corporations of doubtful intentions and abilities!" I am prepared to even give the credit to Danquah for suggesting it, but
what is the point? They guy was a CIA asset, and no patriot! What is

Of course, most of you even believe that colonial rule was the best

NPP, WHAT A FUNNY PARTY!<br />
<br />
Dr. Clifford A. Braimah, Northern Regional Secretary of the NPP stated,
“It is our hope, that in line with the ethics of the profession,
journalists will endeavour to provide the Ghanaian people with accurate
reportage by cross checking from the relevant agencies.”<br />
<br />
Two stories that have been discredited and removed from various websites
involve scatterbrained lies about President Mills having been poisoned
by President Mahama, and another one accusising President Mahama of
having stolen 170 million dollars and hiding them in a Swiss account. <br />
<br />
The NPP jumped on these stupid lies with glee! And long after the story
has benn proven as a hoax the short-witted spin-doctors of the Akufo
Addo campaign, such as Justice Sarpong, Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, and Daniel
Damptey Danquah continued to churn disgusting rants on the silly
stories!<br />

What a shame!<br />

Why NPP's Free SHS Concept will Fly!<br />
<br />
It is one thing standing on a political platform and saying what you
like, and quite another thing being interviewed by a seasoned journalist
on the nitty-grity of one's political manifesto. Ghanaians had the
first and the last opportunity to scrutinize the campaign promise from a
political campaigner who began his campaign with the promise that he is
not going to give any campaign promises.<br />
<br />
I have already pointed out from the way Akufo-Addo's Free SHS was
exposed as a lot of hot air from the sewage, during a BBC interview,
which provided the first in-depth discussion on the subject. <br />
<br />
Akufo-Addo, who started by confessing the costing was yet to be done,
quickly turned 180 degrees and declared that he had already done the
costing! This is a flip-flopping liar!<br />
Just read the following portion of the interview:<br />
<br />
Transcript of BBC's HARDtalk, by the Odikro: Nana Akufo Addo 05 March, 2012 from the 19.59th minute to 20.33:<br />
<br />
PRESENTER: The greatest indictment, frankly, of your government, is the
way in which you squandered money and left this huge hole in the budget
deficit and I think you would now acknowledge that that was a profound
problem the last time your party was in power?<br />
<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: No, I don't believe... I don't believe... I think that... No, I don't accept this proposition at all.<br />
<br />
PRESENTER: I think what the Ghanaian people, it seems to me, from
reading a lot of stuff from the Ghanaian press, want to know is, where
exactly is the money going to come from next time around if you are in
power, for some of the very extravagant promises you've made? You for
example have offered free secondary schooling for all Ghanaians. A
promise you say you would absolutely deliver in your four years in
power?<br />
<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: Absolutely! Absolutely! Absolutely.<br />
<br />
PRESENTER: So have you costed it? How much will it cost?<br />
<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: The costing... the costing... is being... is being done. I mean very very soon will be in the position.<br />
<br />
PRESENTER: No, you must have costed it! You can't make a promise like that without costing it?<br />
<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: No, no, no, very, very soon we are going to be...<br />
<br />
PRESENTER: How much?<br />
<br />
NANA AKUFO-ADDO: Very, very soon, we are going to be... put it together.

<b><a href="http://www.modernghana.com/newsthread1/426384/1/186727#showcomments2">COMMENT: Reckoning With Criminal Political Hoaxes</a></b><br />
<br />
On The Crime And Punishment of Political Hoaxes<br />
<br />
The
price of liberty, they say, is eternal vigilance. The price of peace is
justice and fairness, and the ability to swiftly deal with offenders.
When people commit crimes and nothing happens, they feel encouraged to
even try more daring stints. It is not impossible to find out and punish
those who take it upon themselves to deceive and deliberately mislead
the Ghanaian public. I am going to show that this is possible by
mentioning names and challenging them to prove me wrong!<br />
<br />
I
personally think the individual who first put up this story on the web
must know something about this forgery. Most of these hoaxes are
individual jobs of party fanatics who think by so doing they would be
augmenting the chances of their various parties and candidates at the
polls. In order to eradicate the canker, we must simply focus at the
source. In today's world such things are so easy to determine. <br />
<br />
The
earliest version of this story I have so far gathered was posted on
October 23, 2012, by omgghana.com, under the title, " [EXPOSED]
President Mahama and Wife Stash $170 Million In Swiss Bank Account IMF
Threaten To Cut Aid To Ghana". So the simplest thing to do is to ask
the individual in charge of this website how he came about such a story.<br />
<br />
There
is an urgent need for Ghanaians to remove themselves from harm's way by
dealing drastically with such malicious lies. Freedom of speech ought
to be protected. We must protect the ability of every citizen to help
expose corruption. But this type of protection must not be extended to
those who manufacture their own facts and mislead the public into
drawing wrong conclusions. A lie is an injury, and this lie was intended
to injure the judgement of Ghanaians in a crucial electoral year.<br />
<br />
This
is a big deal. Freedom of opinion can never be stretched to cover a
concocted story which has no shred of truth in it, mischievously
attributed to a source that has nothing to do with the story, just to
deceive the Ghanaian public! We do not have any law that protects people
who want to deceive us in our democracy. It is not useful at this stage
to merely speculate which political party is behind this. What is
important is to invite the web-master of Omgghana.com to assist the
police in their investigations.<br />
<br />
Towards the end of the 2008
Presidential elections, a hoax that nearly brought the country to the
verge of civil war, took to the electronic and print media. This was a
letter forged to look as though it was a leak from the personal e-mail
of ex-President Rawlings, in which he was purported to have had a
"hit-list" of prominent Ghanaians to be eliminated, in the event that
the NPP came to power.<br />
<br />
Even though this hoax nearly threw the
stability of the country into the air and diverted much attention of the
national conversation on it, nothing meaningful came out by way of
prosecuting those who were behind it. This was a monumental failure of
the Ghana Police, whose cyber crime division has not yet been seen to
crack a single crime! That hoax also had a "first time" that it was put
on the web. The earliest source of such activity can be traced to Mr.
Yofi Grant, who was then working in the Communications team of Dr.
Mumuni Bawumia, NPP's Vice Presidential candidate, then and now.<br />
<br />
I
pointed out then, that this was very harmful and dangerous to our
democracy and should not be taken lightly. I also expressed the
legitimate fears that if effective steps were not taken to bring this
under control, they were bound to be even more skilful the next time
around. In any case, why should people who indulge in such activity do
so with impunity? Why is it that there is apparently no fear associated
with such a criminal behaviour? <br />
<br />
Here is how the earliest version of the Rawlings so-called "Hit-List" that almost brought our country on the brink of war:<br />
<br />
From: "Yofi Grant"<br />
Date: Tue, 18 Nov 2008 09:10:46 -0000<br />
To: [deleted]<br />
Subject: RE: Could this possibly be true???<br />
..yeah,
whats new? I guess he will try any means possible if you live in
Ghana you will understand, he has been up to all sorts of things.<br />
<br />
R. Yofi Grant<br />
Executive Director, Databank Financial Services Limited<br />
<br />
This
crime has no expiring date! The more we punish the perpetrators, the
more certain we can be that we are on top of this dirty politically
motivated crime! I am challenging Yofi Grant to prove me wrong, if he is
not the source of the Rawlings hit list hoax, where did he get his
information from? The same question must be asked of Omgghana.com. If we
do not begin to put some fear of the law into the hearts of these
individuals behind these politically scams and criminal behaviour, we
run the risk of paying dearly for this with the insecurity and
instability that some of these hoaxes are capable of. We have to know
the difference between what is news, free speech, political opinion, and
what is a crime!<br />

I write to hereby inform you the following:<br />
<br />
<br />
The Elephant Is Still On The Beat!<br />
<br />
I keep saying that the elephant was not simply chased into the bush. Once inside the bush, it took the "strategic" decision to beat about the bush! It does not surprise me in the least, that somehow in your thinking, the NDC are pigs, Ghanaians are animals, and NPP is the only human being in town, Mr. Jones! Can you hear yourself? You want the animals to throw away the pigs and bring you the human beings to come and rule over them, is that your point in general?<br />
<br />
Well I can assure you that the pigs are also part of the animal kingdom, and why should their overthrow necessitate the invasion of humans? I think considering the level of the elitism and arrogance within the NPP it came to you so naturally to see yourselves as humans and Ghanaians as animals without losing a sleep on that!<br />
<br />
Since you are familiar with the Animal Farm, you might also know the fable of the "The Shepherd's Dog and The Wolf"? Men eat more sheep than wolves, yet we claim wolves are more dangerous to sheep!<br />
<br />
"A wolf eats a sheep, but now and then<br />
Ten thousand are devour'd by men.<br />
An open foe may prove a curse;<br />
But a pretended friend is worse"!<br />

TRYANOTHERONE, 500 GRAMS AFTER MEALS!<br />
<br />
Hi Daniel Danquah Damptey,<br />
<br />
That is brilliant! You think you are busy campaigning by raising
pertinent issues. Thank you very much for your concern for the life of
President Mills. It is enough to click on blue name following "Columnist
to see the kind of things you were writing about President Mills. You
actually wished him dead!<br />
<br />
So it is a little bit strange to see this sudden outpouring of concern
for the late President. Is that to assuage your Christian conscience, or
you have "better things" on your mind, such as the impending elections?<br />
<br />
You seem to have a "Cow Boy Mentality", where the only good Indian is a
dead one! In your case, President Mills was evil when he was alive and
became good the moment he died! Is it the case for you that the only
good Atta Mills is a dead one?<br />
<br />
You should not stoop so low! This is too shameful! That is why I am
prescribing the following medication for you. Each time you sit down to
write about John Mahama, and the chances of that relative of yours, you
should fast and pray for three days before you set pen on paper. If you
do not want to fast for a minimum of three days, you can resort to a
short-cut by taking some laxatives. The point is that you must make sure
you have physically emptied your stomach, before writing. The reason is
simple: you are full of shit!<br />
<br />
Just what do you mean by challenging the President to meet you or any
other person "to discuss issues involving the death of his predecessor?"
Are you now the wife of Professor Mills? Why does the President need to
meet you to discuss the death of a man whose death had been anticipated
with glee by you these same people, in order to exonerate himself?<br />
<br />
Do you listen to yourself, sometimes? You could have made some
impression and not a fool of yourself, if the President were to have
been some able-bodied and healthy young man who had died suddenly and
mysteriously, only to be replaced by President John Mahama. But this is
not the case. Every Ghanaian knew, or ought to have known, that the
President was terminally ill. Don't lie to me that you did not know,
because you would need to explain with that, on what basis you people
were regularly predicting and wishing him dead? <br />
<br />
It is highly foolish on your part to be seen trying to take advantage of
the death of a man whom you despised so intensely! Yet you have the
nerve to challenge the President to come and see you to prove his
innocence over the death of a man whose imminent death, strictly
predicted on the basis of his health, was greeted with jubilation by
you?<br />
<br />
Please shut up and go back into your mind! You are out of your mind! <br />
<br />
You could have summarized this long bull shit with these few words:<br />
<br />
"My Third Eye has revealed that something sinister had taken place in
the mysterious death of Former President John Atta Mills and I will
continue to ask probing questions until I get the right answers."<br />
<br />
I find it strange that you qualify the death of a man you have been busy
predicting since 2008 as "mysterious"! This makes you a mysterious
liar!<br />
<br />
It is only a lack of intelligence that would compel you to produce a
junk like this as part of your campaign efforts to assist your uncle,
Nana Addo! You are involved in a tedious and rather stupid form of
campaigning that take so much of your time and produce no results!<br />
<br />
That is why you are losing! From the level of stupidity displayed here,
hypocrites and mischievous liars like you must never be allowed near the
seat of power!<br />
<br />
Thank God Akufo-Addo has no chance! You are even doing a better job for
us than for Akufo-Addo! You are the kind of people Akufo-Addo should
fear most, from now onwards. Your foolish writings are going to rapidly
damage his campaign, as he comes under pressure. Just mark my words, and
don't forget what the battle-hardy Roman General once said, "I fear
more a stupid ally, than a clever enemy!"<br />
<br />
Akufo-Addo needs to take note of that, in order to move his campaign
forward. And whilst he is at it, he needs to find out if he has your
phone number and do the necessary thing, because it is very obvious you
are not helping him at all! A political campaign is different from
buffoonery, and you seem to be engaged in the latter, whilst pretending
to do the former. <br />
<br />
Oh, by the way, if you did not understand your medication, TRYANOTHERONE, 500 GRAMS AFTER MEALS!<br />
It means you need to shit a lot because you are full of it. You should
keep on trying until the stomach is empty or you have evacuated a
minimum of 500 grams of shit, before you write your next article! Your
medication, TRYANOTHERONE, simply means Try Another One! Keep shitting
until you feel you are rid of it!<br />
<br />
We no go sit down!<br />
<br />
Forward Ever! Backwards Never!<br />

Hi Mr. Kofi Atta,<br />
<br />
Sarpong himself knows the story is false. He indirectly admitted it by
writing "The story below was culled from APN site." There is no such
story on any APN site!<br />
<br />
Sarpong is deliberately propagating a falsehood! He knows exactly what
he is doing as a self-conscious liar! This speaks volumes about the
state of affairs of the Akufo-Addo campaign team.<br />
<br />
I suppose if such falsehood persists, there will be no one left to vote
for the beneficiary of such vile propaganda, Nana Akufo-Addo!<br />
<br />
I was not sure what to make of the blank allegations that President John
Mahama was corrupt following the death of President Mills. All of a
sudden, it has become very clear to me that he is so clean his
adversaries need to invent stories of corruption before they can even
accuse him of same!<br />
<br />
Sarpong is indirectly campaigning for President Mahama. He is certainly
not interested if the story he is churning out is true or false, and
will certainly not bother to check with APN.<br />
<br />
Often scam artists think they are smarter than their victims, and more
than often they are wrong! Take a cursory look at the 419 e-mail scams,
and see ample confirmations of this.<br />
<br />
It is only people of low intelligence who are able to believe that they
can deceive others with stupid lies! Sarpong will know by the end of the
day, who is fooling who. <br />
<br />
It is a pity that even though no one is fooling him, he has decided to
fool himself so publicly! And this is without consequences. President
Mahama is receiving a baptism of fire, and will come out strong!<br />
<br />
Forward Ever! Backwards Never! Long live Ghana!<br />

<br />
We must guard against campaigning directly, or indirectly, for an internationally recognized POTHEAD and a hypocrite! I was surprised whilst researching on the Akufo-Addo wee-smoking saga, I came across him in a non-Ghanaian website dedicated to cannabis and homosexuality. He was condemned as a hypocrite on both counts!<br />
<br />
If you google: Wikileaks: Ghana's Opposition Leader Likes To Wake 'n' Bake, you will see the following at <a href="http://www.cannabisculture.com/">www.cannabisculture.com</a>:

<br />
Wikileaks continue to spill online and spill the beans, this time on Nana Akufo-Addo, a presidential candidate and "flag bearer" of the opposition New Patriotic Party. Turns out he likes to smoke weed for breakfast.
From GhanaWeb
From the lenses of Wikileaks and from the lips of very close associates, some of whom have known Nana Akufo-Addo, the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for decades, came the bombshell - the NPP Presidential candidate appears to have substituted the smoking of marijuana for his early morning breakfast.<br />
<br />
According ‘Comrade’ Kwesi Pratt, Jnr., the respected publisher and editor of the ‘Insight’ newspaper, Nana Akufo-Addo did not just smoke a lot of the illegal herb, but smoke early in the morning to get high always.
According to the latest leaks of diplomatic cables from the US Embassy in Accra, when questioned about persistent rumors of Akufo-Addo's alleged cocaine habit, Mr. Pratt who was very fair to the NPP candidate admitted that he had personal knowledge of the candidate's drug use, but that it was not cocaine.
"Nana used to smoke a lot of marijuana," Pratt said, "and I'm telling you, a lot. Even in the morning, there used to be a cloud around him and you could see that he was high. But I never saw him do cocaine, and I think that is just an assumption people made."<br />
<br />
In another development, Dr. Kwesi Aning, another very respected security analyst who is head of Research at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Centre, is quoted to have admitted that Akufo-Addo had used drugs in his younger days, but that was now "under control."
He added cryptically that "you can check with German intelligence on that."<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/artikel.php?ID=217989">Read the leaked cable. </a><br />
<br />
Of course, just because it's written in a Wikileak, doesn't mean it's true. That hasn't stopped members of other political parities in Ghana from demanding Akufo-Addo's take a drug test or resign.<br />
<br />
I don't have a heck of a lot of sympathy for Akufo-Addo, who was the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice from 2001 to 2003 under former President John Kufuor. Marijuana is illegal in Ghana, as is homosexuality. Laws like that could drive a man to smoke first thing in the morning."<br />

That is exactly the point! This woman believes in "Structural Adjustment", "deregulation" and a host of policies that make no difference whether she is African or European. So, what is the point that this group wants to make?<br />
<br />
Africa is facing irreversible threats to our environment, food and water security. We even have Monsanto hiding behind Kofi Annan's AGRA, there is serious trouble going on in Somalia, Sudan, Mali, Central Africa, and deadly clashes are being reported in Libya between NTC militias, et etcetera, etcetera, and all they choose to care about is who goes to head the world Bank?<br />
