To SARPONG

Sarpong is an unrepentant singer of "All Ewes have EKORO!" He has seen worse comments and remained strangely silent! Sometimes I wonder whether he is not playing Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I did not read the Harvey article, but if the English is bad, it could easily be Sarpong!

He has been praying that he would find me insulting Ashantis just ONCE to make a mountain out of it. But it is beneath my dignity to stoop so low. I find it so utterly disgusting! The real questions facing the ordinary Ghanaian as we of the CPP keep saying is that this is a question of class, not ethnic origin. It is a sign of absolute ideological bankruptcy to see and analyse the politics of Modern Ghana from narrow tribal or ethnic perspectives. The ruling classes of Ghana act together in concert to defend their interests across the ethic lines. Those who are shouting themselves hoarse over this nonsense know why they want to divide and rule! They also know whom they are trying to divide with this sort of nonsense. The best way is to ignore them and wait to point out their own stupidity to them when it backfires against them in the form of yet another painful defeat at the polls.

Those Ashanti NPP complaining to be under servitude because the NDC is in power are the kind of people who will not accept any other political party in power except the NPP! What do you want us to do with them? What they mean by "servitude" is not different from when they say they are "fasting". An Ashanti fast is a fufu-free day, so if an Ashanti tells you he or she is fasting, you must always remember to ask supplementary questions otherwise you may form the wrong impression. These are people who can "fast" for months without starving!

What I want to say is that by "servitude" they simply mean they are out of power! This is why I wish to condemn them into a state of permanent "servitude"! I call upon all the good people of Ghana to give them another bout of "servitude" come 2012!

This is Nana Akyea Mesah, The Odikro, speaking directly without a linguist, and I approve this message!

Cheers and God bless Ghana, From Ashantis to Z!
