Comment to: NDC: Rawlings Sympathizers Are Criminals
...AND THE QUESTION THE LAST COMMENTATOR POSED IS HERBY REPEATED WITH SOME PERTINENT OBSERVATIONS:
...how can any sensible human being, or for that matter a nation that has oil make a deal in which it gets NO OWNERSHIP OF THE OIL, but only get paid in ROYALTIES AND TAX from these American thieves, hogs and criminals?
Hi grandson,
If you cannot answer the question, do not deflect other people's attention from it with your hocus pocus. We all know that what the Rawlingses are doing is wrong. But, apart from plain mischief or a desire to sabotage an important national debate, I do not see your point. This is not the time and place for such a discussion.
Whom are you working for? At a time like this where there is an obvious external commercial aggression against our country, all patriots forget about their petty squabbles and come together as one people to deal with what is clearly a common enemy. Are you for the arrogance and greed of Kosmos over and above the legitimate interests of the good people of Ghana? You people never cease to amaze me.
The other day, it was Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. who could not hide his pleasure at the prospect of a bellicose Ivory Coast claiming the Jubilee Fields for themselves altogether!
Okoampa begins an article surreptitiously titled "Who Are These “Parliamentarian Drivers”? with a shocker: "I am glad that, finally, the Ivorians are beginning to assert their right of access and enjoyment of Ghana’s purportedly new-found oil wealth... It also didn’t quite make a lot of sense to me that an oil find that lay so dangerously close to Ghana’s border with Côte d’Ivoire would also have been so [godlessly] uncharitable as to neatly parcel itself out for the exclusive benefit and enjoyment of Ghanaians while the war-seasoned Ivorians continued to languish in penury." - "Who Are These “Parliamentarian Drivers”? By Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr., Ph.D., Feature Article of Tuesday, 16 March 2010.
When are you people going to put an end to this 'house nigger' role and begin to love your own people and country rather than the corporate interests of your owners? Where did you get such a burning desire to undermine your own country from?
We are very busy here! We have a country to save! Away with your nonsense!
Forward Ever! Backwards Never!!!
Cheers!
