This is good news. Whatever it means. We have already been warned by Craig Murray to expect the worst if we do not allow Exxon-Mobil to twist our arms over the Kosmos oil deal. It is refreshing to read that the negative propaganda they have unleashed on Ghana have had very little impact, if any. The reports of the hiring of K. Riva Levinson and giving Ghana a bad press seem to have been outweighed by the generous comments by the White House about the political and economic health of this side of the Sahara.

We shall overcome!
