Comment to: Atta Mills: Face Of A Thug
Quite interesting, Mr. Prah!
If President John Evans Atta-Mills is a thug, how would you describe Akuffo Addo and Kufour?
I am not a Pope. And I am not here to canonise our dear President who is obviously not a saint!
I do not want to suppose that our public toilets were in the hands of the NPP sympathisers during the previous NDC regime, so they did not change hands when the NPP came to office!
If the NPP had not chased the NDC supporters who were running these toilets before the Kufour Administration, how did they end up running it in the first place?
Apparently, the first people who chased those running public toilets in the history of this country were the NPP sympathisers! That is how they came to be running it at the time the NDC came to power.
It is obvious that if the NPP had not chased them out, there would have been no need for the NDC to chase the NDC supporters who were running it from the very beginning!
Why is it that you close your eyes on one side of the story and only highlight the other side, which is at best, a pay back time? Of course, two wrongs do not make a right. But I would rather condemn the one who threw the first stone than singling out the second person for an exclusive lambasting!
Your "saint" Kufuor's meddling with the audit report of the "Price Waterhouse Coopers in 2006 which raised questions of underhand dealings in the already-struggling School Feeding Programme. ..." (google: "A-G uncovers rot in School Feeding Programme…Accountant ordered to ..." 30 Apr 2009) should have served as a background!
The real thugs in Ghana today are those neo-colonialist puppets in the NPP who have virtually signed contracts with the imperialists to enslave us and take their 10 per cent!
They have never really been that comfortable with our independence, that is why they threw as much bombs they could lay their hands on and finally collaborated with the CIA to overthrow the number one man of destiny in Africa: the Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the real saint!
Whether you like it or not, the days of the NPP are over! NDC is going to retain power, come 2012! The CPP is going to take over from the NPP as the largest opposition in parliament in the 2012 elections! And if you like, we shall make our first real dash at it in 2016.
I can assure you however that from the level of growing political awareness in the country, it is very safe to assume that we shall be back in power by 2020! God willing! In the meanwhile, considering the balance of forces, and how evil the NPP has proved to be, we shall make sure that we do not rock the boat too much to let it slip again into their thieving hands!
Forward Ever! Backwards Never!!!
Cheers!
