I do understand your position. I wish to God I could honestly say that the CPP would be in power by 2012. I am optimistic, but not that far. It is very important to me not to sound stupid in my own ears!

Currently we have only one seat in a parliament of 230 seats. You are not going to tell me that it is more responsible to raise false hopes than set realistic and achievable targets?

What is pull him down got to do with a programme that is aiming at beating the number of seats the NPP occupies in the parliament at present? I can promise you that if we are able to achieve this in 2012, we shall surely win power and keep it for a very long time until we have accomplished the fundamental mission of the total unification and economic liberation of Africa from imperialist exploitation and plunder!

Government is not only ruling. Opposition can provide constructive contributions to the development of the country. We are not like the Ashanti NPP who, just like their attitude towards fufu, give them anything to eat and they complain of starvation because they have not eaten fufu! Once they are out of power, they consider themselves in servitude. This should not necessarirly be the case. It is because of the corruption among our politicians that is why they have developed this "winner takes all" mentality.

They can cry to be in servitude, what can I say? they ain't seen nothing yet! Why should we be a part of a government when we do not see eye-to-eye with the fundamental policies of statecraft? We are also going slowly but surely!!!

Just mark my words:

The CPP is going to take over from the NPP as the largest opposition in parliament in the 2012 elections! And if you like, we shall make our first real dash at it in 2116. I can assure you however that from the level of growing political awareness in the country, it is very safe to assume that we shall be back in power by 2020! God willing! In the meanwhile, considering the balance of forces, and how evil the NPP has proved to be, we shall make sure that we do not rock the boat too much to let it slip again into their thieving hands!

Forward Ever! Backwards Never!!!

Cheers!
